Sunny Sarpal is a Calgary-based entrepreneur, developer, and operator focused on building businesses and projects at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, energy, artificial intelligence, technology, sport, and community. Through The Sarpal Group and its affiliated platforms, he works across strategy, development, partnerships, capital readiness, management, and execution.
He was raised in a multi-generational family enterprise — New Prominent — spanning manufacturing, furniture production, import and export, and real estate. His own operating background is in building: heavy construction with one of Western Canada's oldest general contractors, then modular construction delivered across Western Canada, including First Nations housing, parks and recreation facilities, and cottage projects, before founding Havenz Smart Communities and originating the AHI campus in Central Alberta.
His approach is grounded in a simple principle: significant ideas require clear structure, aligned people, and persistent execution. The work is long-term by design — building platforms intended to create value beyond a single project or cycle.
