Privacy Policy
Last updated · September 2026
The Sarpal Group Inc. (“The Sarpal Group”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through thesarpalgroup.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable, and other privacy laws that apply to visitors outside Canada.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit the Engage form or correspond with us, we collect the information you choose to share: name, organization, title, work email, phone, location, website, area of interest, sector, stage, estimated size, anticipated budget range, timing, a description of the opportunity, how you heard about us, and any attachment you include.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we enable privacy-conscious analytics in the future, it will be disclosed here and, where consent is required, requested before activation.
2. How we use personal information
We use the information you provide to assess whether a mandate fits our focus and capacity, to respond to your inquiry, to arrange follow-up discussions, and to maintain a record of correspondence. We use technical information to operate, secure, and improve the Site.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use form submissions for marketing lists without your separate consent.
3. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and handle inquiries (for example, hosting and email delivery providers), with affiliated platforms where your inquiry concerns them and you would reasonably expect the referral, and with independent professionals engaged on a mandate you have asked us to consider. Service providers may process data outside Alberta or Canada; where they do, we take reasonable steps to require comparable protection. We may also disclose information where required by law.
4. Attachments and sensitive information
Please do not submit highly sensitive commercial, financial, health, or personal information through the Site. If a mandate requires the exchange of confidential material, we will arrange an appropriate confidentiality agreement and secure channel first. Attachments are size- and type-limited and are scanned before review.
5. Retention
Inquiry records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to assess and respond to the inquiry and to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. Inquiries that do not proceed are reviewed for deletion on a periodic schedule. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
6. Safeguards
The Site is served over HTTPS with modern security headers. Form submissions are validated, rate-limited, and protected against automated abuse. Access to inquiry records is limited to the principal office and the service providers that support it.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions), or ask us to delete inquiry records that we are not required to keep. Write to us at the address below. You may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta if you have an unresolved concern.
8. External links
The Site links to affiliated platforms and third-party sites, each of which has its own privacy practices. This policy applies only to thesarpalgroup.com.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the current version. Questions or requests may be sent to the privacy contact at info@thesarpalgroup.com, attention: Privacy.
